Are men really necessary to us anymore?

So, I've put aside my financial issues for a while to focus on the very unoriginal, yet universal topic of men.

In my opinion, men may not be necessary to the female gender anymore. Ever since women started earning their own salaries, getting their Ph.D's, and becoming artificially inseminated, men just don't seem to be a such a commodity anymore.

But then, this whole "feelings" thing continues to get in the way. Damn. Maybe it's some sort of left over emotions that women did need back in the day when men where necessary, but now they just linger, they become left overs like eyebrows or leg hair.

So what is a modern girl to do with these feelings? Is it actually LOVE or just left overs from when we needed men? Sure it's easier to run a family with an extra person, but many families today are run just fine with single mothers and extended family.

I think women get themselves into trouble a lot because of this, especially when it comes to marriage.

Any thoughts? Sure love and attraction are swell, but are we just kidding ourselves?

Until next time,
Steph

  1. I think there's a man out there for every woman that complements her just right.

Plus, they are good for killing bugs and holding onto during scary movies. Chicks can't help ya there! :P
